They suck you in by saying it is funded by a prominent owner, and then you join a culture of Brown Nosers. I’ve seen people get fired for speaking up and people get promoted for kissing butt. The worst part is that every single executive has his/her own agenda with the VP of Operations being the worst (followed by President of Flyer and the CEO). Engineers are treated terribly! It has become a culture of “get onboard or get fired”. To everyone looking to join, I would consider other options. Seriously. The micromanagement and amount of behind smooching that you will have to do is insane.
