L1B to EB1
Can you move to EB1 immigration from L1B? Example, if you become a SDM?
Not sure if there is a way to upgrade while u stay within the country... U would mostly have to become a manager, give up L1B, work outside the country for a year, come back to USA as a manager with L1A to qualify for EB1C( I believe it's for international executives ).. I believe u need international managerial experience... I may be wrong though..
Eb1 is for “international managers” so getting promoted to manager in US might not be enough. However if you can show you were a manager in your international subsidiary as well, it might be possible. However, in general L1b could go for eb1 for sure - I did 🙂
Yes it is possible. Ask lawyers about functional managers. Those are program management roles where you don't have direct reports yet you seem to get the perks of eb1
