how do you it esp when managers tend to side them and are biased towards their decisions? An L6 in my team is becoming a big source of frustration to the extent that our deliverables are getting impacted due to poor decision making. I have brought this up multiple times but these requests are falling on deaf ears.
If you have data driven arguments, it's pretty easy to push them especially if you do it positively. If you don't ... well that's just your opinion man
The dude abides
How can you do this positively?
I will always stand up for any team member who is blamed and disparaged when they arenāt around. We work as a TEAM. Do your best. Appreciate others. Work proactively to improve the company. Negative badmouthing rarely solves anything. Positive mental attitude is valued and powerful.
^ this sentiment right here is so strong at Tableau that it is now a cancer and the place is filled with under-performers who have forgotten what a feedback looks like.
The point is that feedback should be given directly to the person first, and yes with facts.
Sounds like a bad colleague. I always listen to my team mates irrespective of levels.
Not really! Thats just the way they operate. Otherwise, they have been quite considerate to me
