Yeah, but some of them recommended surgery, some recommended rest.

Leg pain means your symptom is getting worse, I recommend getting good kneeling chair, minimize sitting posture, get inversion table or hanging bar to decompress your spine whenever and take advil. Avoid surgery like plague.

What were your symptoms? How was it diagnosed by your doctor? I got diagnosed with a compressed L5-S1 disc today via X-Ray but wondering if I should push for an MRI.

Are you able to walk or exercise? I’ve had some back pain and went to PT where I worked on hip, back, and glute mobility plus lots of lower back stretches like cat-camel and bird dog stretches.

I can, in fact, walking relieve some pain, but doctors didnt give a consistent theory, so I just rest

I highly recommend a chiropractor. Develop a plan with them for recovery and don't skimp!

If you think this is expensive, invasive, or nonsense - then take the straight shot of surgery! (JK, bad idea don't do this at 22 unless you want unbearable pain without options by 35)

See a chiro or physio therapist. They may be able to reduce the pain through targeted exercise
