Is anyone falling into this situation where, you try to pick off an Easy/Medium question that you have good intuition about how to solve, only to find that many minutes later, you're stuck in test case hell trying to account for edge cases you never saw coming?! I just wanted a "quick" win. Now I have to solve this because I can't let this question beat me.
All the time, what you’re describing is my hell.

Usually if it's some weird edge case I don't bother. If my intuition was correct and it's the optimal solution AND I've accounted for the expected edge cases I just let it go. My goal is to pass interviews and the interviewer is not gonna give me that weirdo random edge case that leetcode is.
