Hello Blind community, I joined Del six months ago and every other day i see someone on the floor being terminated. I am quite uncomfortable with this. if i start interviewing again, would it sound professional to share the right reason for my switch? any thoughts? suggestions?
No reason to share and leak company secrets.
That's not a company secret.
You don’t need to be that specific. Say you don’t like the company culture.
There's still no reason to say anything negative about ur current company. Just say u r looking for a change. Or be vague in other ways.
No ceeker. I am not saying it's not happening. What I am trying to say is if u say anything negative about ur current employer at job interview it doesn't look good on u. For example the prospective employer might think what's he/she gonna say about us when he/she interviews elsewhere.
Don’t be negative with your reason for leaving. Say your looking for career advancement....”cause ya know, where u are, they’re advancing out the door.”
Why are people being fired at del? Cost cutting? No projects?
This is one of very few occasions in life you do not tell the truth. No one can handle candidate speaking truth ('bad') about his/her current or past employer.
Absolutely not. Curiosity is corollary to growth!
Just say fear of layoffs. You'll be fine. A lot of us have been there
