Well there were "redundancies" as a result of acquiring two companies last year. Some of the layoffs might be a result of that.

Rackspace was the most shitty experience I have ever had in my life. The amount of politics and nepotism in the company was at record levels. Once they lost the steam and AWS and Azure pummeled them, they just kept bringing on the most inept CEOs and the result is a company that was in the forefront of cloud tech is now a consultant on other people’s tech
