YoE @nphard?

TC?
Current or expected? Current TC should not play a role in deciding future level. Interview quality should. Besides I am not going to tell my current TC to the recruiter.
Breh, we’re not recruiters, we’re your family. Btw, you forgot to unload the dishwasher last night. TC?
Yes, but they will ask expected base range , unvested RSU and potential loss due to bonus.. know this based on some friends who recently got offers from apple
Yes
Apple doesn’t really have official job titles that map to its job levels. So you will end up with different answers (and they could all be “right”).
Ah! How are engineers mapped to levels then? Interview quality alone or YoE or both? And if YoE is a factor then which level would a 12 yoe land in (given that interview went well)
My experience is level is not even across orgs (same with titles).
Are you interviewing? Depending on the orgs, the answer is different. My guess is you are going to be ICT4.
As long as you get the money you want and scope of work you want, do you really care about leveling or title? Title and leveling varies company to company
I wanted to estimate the money from the level. So that I can protect myself from under quoting
The salary increase is based off your current salary ... even if they up level you the salary won’t go up that much ..: Best option is to use leverage to jack up salary
Ask the recruiter, you will never know. What if you get ICT3?
You are free to map it to whatever you want.
Pray elaborate. (Unless this was a “yeah whatever” answer)
It’s not an official company wide job title as far as I know. So some teams may map it differently.
