Lots of orgs in Microsoft have an email alias for their virtual leadership teams. My M2 (who is a partner) also has such a LT alias, which includes my M1 and her peers, sever other principal/senior team members (but not all seniors are included), as well as ALL PMs regardless of their levels. What do they communicate using this LT alias? Why not they communicate directly with each other or use the common group email alias? Why are all the PMS included in the LT, even for those junior-level PMs? Are they sharing special “benefits” or “opportunities” among their inner circle (e.g., opportunities to go for conferences, opportunities for promotion recommendations, etc.)?
You’re paranoid
What do “leadership conversations” look like? Why would such conversions distract lower level engineers?
Are you involved in all discussions that your government officials have?
Preparing for reviews with senior leadership. Backlog grooming. Resourcing. Planning.
They are using the alias to talk shit about you.

Go woke, go broke: Google fires 28 employees involved in pro-Hamas protest
No, they’re just using it for leadership conversations to not distract low level engineers. It’s not a big conspiracy.
