Should I do it? Anyone else make a similar decision? Heard lots of things are better at EA including culture.
What do Executive Creative Directors make in gaming companies?
TC at Blizzard?
Then leave EA for a nonprofit that doesn't steal conciousness away from kids
Would you rather be a part of failures like battlefield and anthem? I dont know the culture but their products are crap
Blizzard pay is ridiculous compared to other companies. My TC is 85k. We also lost the majority of our profit share DURING A RECORD revenue year, for reasons that were never explained. I just interviewed elsewhere and the offer was 145 TC. Dont think I'll be staying.
Which discipline/level is that?
M2 is IT
I’ve been at EA for a little over a year (Redwood Shores) and still really like it. Culture is great, people are nice, and benefits are good.
Yes. The pay is garbage compared to rest of industry and benefits are similar or worse.
I left EA to go to Blizzard, and then came back to EA. My experiences at both have been really positive. It gets said a lot but it really depends on your team and situation. As you probably know, Blizzard relies a bit on the employees being super passionate about everything Blizzard. I think this results in pay being a little lower compared to other companies. For me, I loved my team at EA and had a great opportunity when I came back. If you want to try something new, do it, leave on good terms and the door will always be open either way.
EA is great if you play your cards well (politics). Also the benefits are pretty good!
