Working in bay area. Looking out for career advancements and stuck in a dilemma to whether learn new tech like full stack Django or jump the leetcode bandwagon. Can't do both as I don't have enough time in a day. End goal is to earn more and work in top tech companies.
Leetcode
haha
Leetcode and move to a top tech company and then learn new tech during work
Leetcode for sure. It’s expected there’s an onboarding program for tech stack
LeetCode, hands down. The big tech companies want to see how you think and solve problems, and are far less concerned about the tech stack you know. Thinkers and problem solvers can/will adapt to tech stacks.
Would this also be the case for more senior roles (like L5 ish in G)?
I don’t know how G works, but I would imagine that how you think and solve problems is more important than tech stack. This is probably even more important the more senior the role gets because you’ll be making bigger decision and have greater influence on outcomes across people/teams.
Leetcode and don't look back, Language and framework specific questions are irrelevant even for Sr. Positions.
The first question to ask yourself is why do you want tech? What in tech excites you. You can't just pick a side because some folks on blind suggest you to do it. Figure out what you want and your motivation first.

Leetcode will be more helpful in interviews with top tech companies.
