What's the optimum leetcode prep strategy for cracking FANG/BigN? For someone just starting out after a long break from algorithmic programming. For ex, easy -> med -> hard. Or jump straight to medium and skip easy since solutions to medium would include easy? I am scheduling a series of interviews in 2 months and want to optimize my time.

First, get paid subscription. Medium, easy, hard.. in each catagory sort thrm based on number of likes and then on FAANG questions. If you can't finish that then just do 100 liked questions
There's explore section and for premium subscription you get company wise curated Study/topics guide Go for it!
By number of likes, do you mean frequency? Or is there a separate 'likes' count?
jump straight to hard and die
There is no separate parameter for "likes" but when you open the question you can skip it if more number of dislikes..
I’ve been asked terrible questions from leetcode with huge number of dislikes by companies that were tagged. Just bc lots of ppl disliked on leetcode doesn’t mean company won’t ask
Go the medium at least. They will never ask u any easy problem. Only chance they did ask u easy ones is because they want to lead u to a medium one or hard one. Personally I only do easy problems when I do not feel in the mood for coding practice
A binary search with k-means clustering of problem domains and some A* like fitness function as a heuristic to guide your newly trained deep learning net along the blockchain should help you discover the optimum strategy in just O(1/N) time!
