Leetcode vs. Others

Just curious why leetcode is the leading interview prep website and why not others like HackerRank, CodeChef, GeeksForGeeks, CodeSignal, etc. I like that they have company specific questions and frequency of the problem in interviews if you have premium but I like the gamification of HackerRank and CodeSignal better.

GeekforGeeks too have company specific questions and have tiers like easy medium hard but they cater mostly to engineers and students from India.

I'm from India, and TBH it's amusing to see you SV folks trying to move up in life using the same tactics we've been reviled for using over the decades...rote memorization over creativity 😊

I used adblocker to remove extra clutter from geeksforgeeks. UI not horrible anymore.

Agreed. I really don’t see leetcode being that much better. Maybe they’ve just got a bunch of blind accounts that keep pushing a narrative.

Yes but my question is why it’s reputation is so much better than others.

in comparison to GeeksforGeeks, it has fewer typographic errors (e.g. "its" vs. "it's")

These platforms have content created by community. Leetcode is preferred in USA.
