I feel like my manager has been giving me a lot of unfair qualitative feedback to evaluate my performance and no metrics to measure my half yearly performance. I also believe that he discriminated based on my nationality. He has hinted that he is going to put me on pip. How can I defend myself legally before I get laid off and what proof can I save to sue him for discrimination?

As to discrimination on the basis of nationality, you’d need written documentation or some ability to prove that was the reason for disparate treatment.
