Life is just a mere luck.., TL;DR

^^ agree? Starting from the "formation of universe" to "formation of life on earth" to your "birth". It's just luck that plays major role in it. What if value of the force that tie protons, quarks, neutrons, electrons together a bit more or less? What if molecules in ocean (on earth) didn't combine together in right amount to form DNA? What if two single cells didn't combine to form multi cellular organisms? What if at least one mutation (that lead to life it is today) didn't happen the way it happened? What if the astroyed that traveled millions of miles in space and wiped 80-90% of life (mostly dinosaurs) deviated a bit and missed hitting the earth completely? What if atleast one of our ancestral species (with right mutation in evolution) didn't survive till it had it's offsprings. What if major climate change (that reduced most of the vegetation/food) in Africa forced our ancestral species (chimpanzees) to walk on two legs for food. What if your parents didn't meet each other? What if the sperm (from which you came) among millions of other sperms didn't make into the egg cell? (If any other sperm made into the egg cell then I think our parents would've totally had a different child, or am I wrong?) What if atleast one of your human ancestors didn't marry/mate with each other? (Now, what if the each sperm among millions of sperm of each ancestor didn't make into the egg cell) If atleast one of the above events have happened we would've not been here by now. More I think about life, more I read about science and evolution more I see that we are just a side effect of many historical events and we are just out of mere luck. And this realization makes me to look at life completely in a new/different way. This realization makes to respect the life more and this even made me to stop eating meat.

What if you wrote a smaller post and people will put effort to actually read it

If we are lucky, maybe OP will add a TL;DR.

One combination wins the lottery on any given drawing, but every other combo is equally rare. When you buy your quick pick think how extraordinarily lucky and crazy it is that YOU drew THOSE PARTICULAR 6 numbers. Now if all other combos are equally lame and boring by some metric (no life and just abyss), then yeah you have a point. But what is the justification for adopting that metric? There are countless ways to distinguish what might have been the universe without life but if you choose to recognize life as an interesting distinguishing factor, then yup this whole thing we’re a part of is pretty dope

Takes more faith to believe it all happened by chance than it all happening by a Creator.

Yes it's all chance but doesn't have anything to do with avoiding meat.

Expedia ~● @ OP Mar 17, 2019

Just makes me feel I'm eating an animal which inturn makes someone to kill more animals. As per stats meat consumption is creating more harm to environment. Will resume eating meat once cultured meat is available.

Its a miracle to be born as human, with such a low probability. Yet people suicide and reject this rare and wonderful gift

Each individual life may be luck, you may have never been born, and someone else could have existed. But nature and evolution seem to always continue, so if not us, someone else. If we were so lucky, then it it can be argued that we are special, even if the outcome appears arbitrary or random.
