LinkedIn Information security engineer interview

Hey guys! Anyone knows what the interview process is like for a senior info sec engineer at LinkedIn? Is there coding? Or ctf rounds? Recruiter was not very helpful and could not give too much info.

      Really? I heard the interviews are pretty tough!! Hopefully they don’t end up asking data structure/algo questions!

    I interviewed with the same team. Had my phone interview recently. I was asked to parse a http log file. The recruiter was completely unhelpful and I had no idea what to expect.

      Mine is a she 😂 it’s not just LinkedIn..a lot of the recruiters are like that for security engineer positions..

      Hiring manager = no code. This is the best way actually for security engineer. Otherwise they throw you into a tech phone screen with a SWE asking you leetcode medium to hard and you’re like whaaat??

      Agreed..don’t know why they wld ask leetcode for security engineers?!?? But I am supposed to have a coding round so it might be after the HM phone screen..hoping it’s not leetcode 🤞🏻

    I got lots of Active Directory questions years ago and lots of Kerberos questions as well. This was pre MSFT.

      Oh! This role is supposed to focus on vuln research but I guess it wouldn’t hurt to read up on AD and Kerberos..thanks!
