I have a question about the onsite interview with LinkedIn for a senior software engineer position. All of my rounds went well but in the last coding round, I got a problem which looked like a Leetcode hard. I was able to do it with a data structures and was able to explain my approach however the interviewer didn't seem convinced and kept pushing me to use another data structure. At the end of the round, it felt that he wasn't entirely sure of my solution. How does it affect the result. is it an automatic reject of you don't do well on one coding round?
Mostly reject unless others gave you strong accept.
What was the question?
Any updates on the result?
got a rejection
That sucks !! Did you get any feedback from the recruiter?
Was this for US or India office?
