LinkedIn and Twitter Referrals
Hi, Can someone refer me for Swe positions at LinkedIn. I have 1 year full Stack experience and have offers from Amazon, msft and have an onsite scheduled with Google and Facebook.
Just message recruiters directly, if you have offers and onsites at the other big companies lined up they should give you an interview.
Does this actually work?? Has anyone tried this? This sound so douchey
Why would it be douchey? It’s a recruiters job to find candidates, you make their job easier by going to them. Then they know you have interest. Letting them know you have competing offers just lets them know you can actually make it through their process. I personally did this for companies I was interested in and it worked well. I also have friends which went even more extreme and just spammed every single person at some companies just to make sure they got the interview 😂 Just make sure you do it respectfully and all will be fine.
Is it a troll? You have offer from Amazon, Microsoft, onsite lined up for Google and Facebook, BUT you still want more?? 😑
