Hi, How important/helpful is leetcode for Frontend engineer role at Linkedin? Do they ask leetcode style questions at all for this role? Or just focus on Dom traversal/array manipulation algos? I have an interview coming up soon and want to cover the most important stuff. Any info would be really helpful. Thanks!
I just got a front end offer from LinkedIn. I think it would be worth your time to go through leet code questions
There is a round on data structures. You are definitely expected to know the basics.
Still important though not as important as it is for app track. You do need to know domain frontend knowledge..cant BS through just leetcode
how would one prepare domain knowledge?
If you are a good front end eng meeting linkedin bar then rest assured the questions are very practical. Now if you are some jack of all trades trying to sneak through im afraid you will have hard time. Reading tech knowledge on web helps but you probably need to actually do it (or tutorial) to retrieve it during interview
Questions do not come from leedcode but in my experience they did help. Be good at data structures and what you mentioned yourself. For soft skills, company values are huge so take a little time and familiarize yourself with them
Leetcode easy/medium, basic html, one system design

They ask corner frontend questions. Like different function scopes, debounce, flexbox etc.
