I'm currently working with a recruiter to set up dates for an initial phone screen with LinkedIn. Is it acceptable for me to select dates 3 weeks from now to get some time and study well or should I book the earliest possible date? Also, what level of leetcode difficulty should I expect for a Mobile Software Engineer position with 2 yoe?
Leetcode easy and medium for phone interview, generally LinkedIn ask 2 questions for phone interview. Also the basics of your position. I was asked difference between mutex and semaphores, tcp vs Udp and java basics for infra position. Almost similar YOE as you.
What was next round of interview ?
Same. For infra role , I got asked about mutex, semaphore , memory mapped file questions for the first 20 min. Then the coding part. A medium question on LC.
Did you already give onsite ?
No. I have my onsite scheduled in 2 weeks from now.
everything i got from LinkedIn was leetcode hard or medium; except in phone screen where i got one leetcode easy and one harf
What type of SWE? Infra? Backend? Full stack?
i think backend or full stack. idr it was a while ago and i didn't pass the on-site. i had a pretty poor experience, i think they disliked me due to where i work
I had a family situation that required me to reschedule the interview 1.5 months after the TPS. I heard of people who even managed to schedule 3-6 months after the TPS. I'd say 1.5-2 months is a good enough time to prepare. Take you time.

take time and study well. There is no point rushing. There is no set formula to crack tech interviews. But With 2 yoe you should practice at least for 3-4 weeks and solve over 100 problems. It should give you a decent chance I think
