LinkedIn offer process is best in tech, imo.

They were fast, open about interview feedback and carefully put together a compensation package that was more than fair. Although, they mentioned there wasn’t much room to negotiate, they also said they try to provide best offer based on HR staff, relative comp numbers, location and interview feedback. None of the BS of giving lowest offer unless there is competing offer like what happened with Google and others. Curious to hear others experience and which companies impressed you most.

The 48 hour exploding offer is a pretty big downside

Was this negotiable? I was told I have more time than 48hrs. Can others comment if 48hrs is the norm?

No. Non Eng. Maybe timeline is different for departments.

Their interviews are very predictable. They have a small bank for interview questions.

They ask fizzbuzz. Lol.

LinkedIn wiseguy_ May 22, 2018

I think the idea is not to ask widely different questions so it's fair, but down side is they are predictable. I have to say they way low balled my offer -actually offered below my salary 😑- and I had to negotiate
