Location doesn't affect TC for startups - agree?

In my personal experience (as a hiring manager and also having worked in 5+ well funded startups), location is irrelevant when talking about salaries for startups, specifically base. A lot of startups hire remote folks, and they are not going to pay more/less for someone in Chicago VS NYC VS Dallas
