Hey Blind people, What are some of good getaway road trips with family for 4-5 days? Planning to go somewhere for the week of Christmas. Prefer to drive for 6-7 hours a day and take rest and also visit places. Some of the national parks like Yellow Stone/ Cater lake area are closed mostly due to snow. Any ideas ? Thanks!! EDIT: We have already seen Las Vegas, Grand/Antelope canyon, San Diego water world, Los Angeles, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Crater Lake, Lassen Peak. We have not gone through highway 1 yet. Looking for some ideas other than these .
Be a couch potato man, why go out lol.
Save your money, stay at home. It's a bad idea to go on road trip on Christmas week. Invest that money you were going to spend in your retirement. Then do some fun stuff with family in nearby park or venues, and experience pure happiness.
San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach, Hearst Castle, Santa Barbara, Portland, Seattle, Mt. Shasta, point arena, Sea Ranch, Auburn, Nevada City, Grass Valley. All good spots with their charms.
Drive to LA, take the ferry to Santa Catalinas island. After that keep go to Disneyland/six flags hit San Louis Obisbo and the Hearst castle on the way back. Hwy one is nice but a very very tiring drive
Cmon... Quite a trivial point to pick on the OP 😂... Every race has their own 'phrases' the population is accustomed to.
Leave the old lady and the brats at home, and drop 10K at the Mustang Ranch.
Palm Springs: visit Joshua Tree National Park
Saw an article recently on how ridiculous it is getting a spot there. People wrote scripts to reserve camping spots within seconds of being available etc
It’s really not that bad actually, it can be first come first serve. There are local people that rent out spots as an Airbnb, and there’s plenty of camping areas around to snag.
