I have Citadel and Facebook for later in the year but looking for Google for the upcoming winter. Currently in winter host matching but seems to be taking a while. 3.9 GPA at Ivy with prev intern at Amazon. Open to many different kinds of projects, mostly looking to learn new things. Any help would be much appreciated!
If you don’t find a host, do they still put you into next year’s host matching?
Yes I will be moved to summer
You do internships while in school?
Side note, but don't be discouraged if you do not match. Generally in searches, returning interns get priority and are displayed first. You can roll over your matching for up to 1 year from when you're past committee. Though to be honest, I don't see with your other internships why you need to match haha Source: I attempted to match 4 separate times since sophomore year after passing hc each time, 0 matches after 4x times. Tl;dr I recruited more and joined F instead.
Do you have the say to roll over to next years host matching? Or is that something the recruiter suggests?
If you don’t match by the end of 8 weeks or whatever the threshold is, just ask to be moved to the next round. It’s a valid thing you can do - recruiter doesn’t usually mention
