I'm an Manufacturing Ops guy that's specializes in hardware (electronics) with emphasis on start ups/green Field sites. I've been in the Bay area 18 months and have made a few connections with ppl at the FANG companies and other areas tech companies but looking at making connections outside of those traditional organizations. As such it seems that many of the bay area companies that are hardware related seem to manufacturer outside of the US. Looking to better understand where start up opportunities are advertised, i.e. are there specific headhunters or agencies that people use to find these opportunities? Also I am gainfully employed with an Italian based company but don't feel as though it's a long term fit so looking at how to get on with either a startup or a early stage tech company. Thanks in advance.

AngelList.co/jobs (AngelList). SV has an emphasis on software verse hardware. Recruiters and headhunters are a mixed bag - A) most young startups can’t afford hiring agencies until they reach a certain revenue/funding amount - B) Mostly looking for engineers and executives.
Thanks for the feedback....I'll check around on AngelList anyway because networking with software ppl can't hurt.
