Looking for technical cofounders to work on an idea as a side gig. Probably looking for someone in SF so we could meet a few times a week, but not a dealbreaker. Our startup focuses on experiences and events, like a combination of Event-brite and Airbnb. Local users can sign up to host events and experiences (and get paid to do so) such as cooking classes or hikes, while others can register for these activities. Currently, I believe there is a gap in the event space which is only dominated by event-brite for events. Looking to select cofounders soon, PM me if you’re interested
What do you bring to the table?
Great question. I’m currently a product manager at Apple. I look to do most everything else: ops, analytics, marketing. Currently have one successful (profitable) side-gig and hope to make this 2. I do all the rest so technical cofounders can focus on technical aspects.
Wondering why are you looking for a co-founder amongst strangers.. check with your friends/colleagues and family members. Register a company, build a prototype and then look to hire people.. if your friends don't trust you enough to take this ride with you, then it's difficult for a stranger to get involve..
Great point. Although many would suggest that working with friends is one of the worst ways so go forward.

how does this differ from airbnb experiences?
People really don’t use Airbnb experiences yet. We did user studies with 2500 users between the ages of 18-45 and less than 10 knew what it was.
