What’s up everybody. Wanted to write a post to put out a call for a potential cofounder. I think I’ve got a pretty good idea on my hands. The product is personal finance / blockchain related. But it’s not just some blockchain for the sake of blockchain idea. Without giving everything away here’s what I’ve done so far 1. 3 rounds of user interviews on the ux / ui 2. Backend and iOS app basic setup 3. Core logic implemented 4. Website is up for beta sign ups 5. Pitch deck If you’re interested in helping people budget better let’s talk :) Ideal cofounder is - hard working - Lives in Bay Area - Has background / interest in any of the following .... security, fin tech, blockchain, swift, product, Android, React native - passion for what they build If you’re interested let me know!
Not a great fit but do you have tips/resources for people interested in learning about the startup process?
Yeah definitely. Nothing will teach you like starting one and then getting rejected lol. But in all seriousness nothing will teach you better than doing.
Sounds lame
"Core Logic Implemented" Uh huh. I'll bite. What does your block chain do? What chain did you build it over or are you rolling your own? If you're taking on founders to help build your product, this elevator pitch needs some work. You don't have to spill the beans on your idea going into the stack and generically what problems you're facing.
Lol fair enough. The goal of my post was to get some bites haha. By core logic I mean business logic not blockchain. I do have an elevator pitch. I just didn’t want to share it in the post mostly for anonymity reasons as my coworkers could find the website / app. Happy to discuss over chat.
I’ve also cleared the project through FBs internal side project review. Just being cautious
As for problems.... 1. Finalizing the growth mechanism through user feedback / research 2. Building the banking infrastructure 3. Building out the product mvp
