Hello everyone, I got laid off 10 days ago as company shut down a business domain. I am looking for jobs in cad/ circuit design and I have little backend knowledge as well. I have very limited time to find something Yoe: 5+ years If you can help Me I will be grateful to you Thank you in advance Ps- saw many openings in intel, Synopsys, cadence, micron, Amd , apple have applied But haven’t heard back anything :(
May want to take a look at Hexagon. They do a lot of very new and interesting CAD work.
Is that CAD for semiconductor industry?
Yeah.
Are you back east? I grew up there and am wondering if you’re part of a massive layoff of a major company founded there. Truly sorry. Look at Mentor Graphics; I worked there out of grad school. They’ve been owned by Siemens for a year or two now - they’re a competitor of Synopsys.
I am in the Bay Area fortunately but I am the part of the massive lay off they did. Looking at every company to be honest. Whoever can refer that will be a big help. Intel, amd , apple are on a hiring spree just need contacts
I got laid off last week so I can't refer you but I want to tell you you'll get through this! I'm rooting for you :)
Rooting for you and OP. It’s never easy to get laid-off.
Thank you for your kind words :”)
DM me
My DMs limit is over. Do you mind pming me?

OP, did you get any job?
See how helpful people can be? If only I were Eurasian.
