Looking for referral/advice

I am looking for referral in apple for mechanial or product design/development kind of roles. I have looked a couple of positions and seems like have all the skills I needed. I have applied for a lot of them but still no calls. I am not sure what do they look at will appreciate any advice or help. Profile: 5+ years of experience in mechanical and equipment design and development
