On a work permit but seriously wish leave Canada due to overdue PR processing (A frustrating zero improvement on application for over a yr) & need to be with family. Are there companies outside Canada (Specially in Europe) that can sponsor a work visa for me & my partner. >3Yrs SDE
No country that has an economy that is favorable for immigrants due to work opportunities is going to give you a PR in less than a year. Calm down
Netherlands, UK, Germany are pretty easy to get into as Swe. (in terms of work permit)
I would say, there aren't. 😐 A lot of the West European IT companies are moving offices in East Europe(Romania, Bulgaria... ) where there's cheap labour and also - there are lots of people migrating from East Europe after those countries joined the EU, so I don't know if it's really that easy to get a job that would relocate or sponsor you with just 3 yoe.
Canada still a better place. If you move to any other country, it may take another 2-3 years for PR.
It is much better for me if my family gets to be with me all through
Am considering this move a temporary solution. I may still return to Canada if the PR comes, I just want a place that both my partner and I can live together while we wait.
Lol check Canada and sikh exodus.. you will feel like walking in a pind..
Netherlands is only 5 years and a few tests to get a passport for highly skilled migrants
I've been seeing more immigrants getting jobs in europe of late to companies like Google & FB. Tho ppl rarely mention how & when there family joins them.

Try Germany
Oh alright!
They have this special program for foreign workers which basically provides them a residency in the country. You should start learning a bit of German though. The program favors software engineers
