Lvl 65 principal engineer offer
185 base, 140 sign on over 2y, 400 stock at Microsoft. Multiple other offers from others, but this is highest. I thought this was decent until I Blinded. How is this? Yoe 12 @microsoft @facebook @amazon @google
Is M lv65 the same as senior at FNG? That is an above average senior offer.

Base is at least 10% low. Starting E6 FB TC is at least 30% higher. Also,dont expect much after yr 4 unless you walk on water or are a good golfer and like to suck up. After yr4 FB TC will likely double yours.
What's E5 at FB? I don't know how Microsoft 65 is at Facebook
Think of this scenario, you join FB or G first and try to come to MS in 2 years. You would likely get L67

Given that it’s $400k RSU...it’s a good deal for first 2 years. During this time you can also test if recession is hitting the market. Scrape the cream for first 2 years and think again if you wanna stay or scoot.
Factor into refresher stock awards when looking into the offer like this.
Refresher at Microsoft is peanuts.
