I am newly in a director-level role at my current very small company. I would like to be eligible for higher level roles in the future, so I am considering an online MBA. I took only one business class during my undergrad, so I feel that I have some gaps in my knowledge there. Should I pursue an online MBA or do self-learning? Would love to hear your thoughts. Should I move near a top school and attend in-person? TC: 420 YOE: 14
That seems like pretty awesome TC for a new Director at a small company. Well done
if the current role or your next desired one requires build/buy decisions, new market penetration strategy, managing P&L, etc and you feel deficient then it could be worth it. May want to look at Executive MBA programs.
Only if it is from university of phoenix online
If they'll pay for it or you think is necessary for advancement
