OMS analytics ..cost around 11k from Georgia tech Pros :- Cheap deegre, Good college and MS will add some value to my profile.. doing masters in analytics will help in business part /PM Cons:- is it good than CS ... Should I do MbA 3. Online / part time MbA My company doesn't sponsor or doesn't have tution fees reimbursement so not sure if spending 100K is the right thing to do with 3yoe. Other option is to do MS and switch to some other company which sponsor MBA and do it later on ...with 6-7 yoe then I may afford 100K Thoughts pls
MBA only worth it if you’re going to a top 10.
MBA. It's the only place to network and learn soft skills.
MBA. Btw you don’t need to spend $100K for one. The other option is take a course/certificate on Product Management from Northwestern, Stanford, Booth, or Harvard Business School. Read some books on Product Management and entrepreneurship then launch a product or service that actually solves a customer problem and has market fit whether it’s at your current employer or your own pet project. Good luck!
None of these 3 options increase your PM chances in any way. What you need, is a PM job in your current company, or prep for somewhat entry level PM jobs outside and get referrals.
Google and Microsoft literally recruit 2nd year MBAs directly into Product Management jobs (Microsoft refers to them as Program Managers) every fall. Amazon does as well for L6.
Full time MBA right now from a top 7 school, is not one of the 3 options he's listed.
GUYS OP NEEDS TO GET AN MBA OK
