what is average compensation for positions in auto sector after MBA?
Depends on the part of the business. It’s still a bit of a catch 22 because automotive tends to have a “experience hires experience” approach in the OEM sector. That being said, more job security risky parts of the business like marketing would like you to have the MBA and it has transferable experience in nature.
Also someone mentioned Ev brands and such. NIO is in the shitter and is a Chinese shell company. KARMA hasn’t sold a car retail yet, and Tesla is only now on the path to a stable business. I’d say shoot for Tesla or Rivian in the future and for right now build your automotive bones in a backwards ass American brand like ford or gm who are struggling to stay relevant
Cruise pays very well
Top or bottom..
Widely depends on location like most roles. Also new EV focused companies tend to pay more.
