I was reached by recruiter to invite me for the MS Azure Storage hiring event on 10/13 at Redmond, WA couple of weeks ago. I showed my interest and asked for more details but haven't heard back from her. I followed up twice but got no response. Appreciate if someone can help to know more about event and help me to get into this event? Thanks in advance.
Azure's hiring process is a raging dumpster fire. If you want an interview, be persistent.
Or reach out to the hiring manager or someone from the team directly.
I cleared phone screens from couple of teams and got mail from onsite scheduling team for interview dates. Its been two months, i sent 5-6 mails for scheduling update and no reply till now ☹️
Award for worst hiring process - definitely goes to Microsoft
Depends. I’ve had good experiences it also heard of very bad. Their tools are challenging and the experience in HR is hit or miss I think.
Grad hiring is awesome. On campus initial screen, followed by single day assessment centre with results same day. That's pretty sick. Can't speak for the industrial hiring process though
Are same day interviews done? Need to swap
Did you get a online test ? If not forget about the event
nope :( let's see if something change... thanks

after talking with recruiter came to know that to be eligible for an event, one must have at least 24 months left on OPT if on F-1 visa. in my case it's 10 months.... disappointed, immigration rules sucks... :(
Is this real? 24 months? What if you have 20?
I can say they are pulling people in from all over that week.
