No, senior (they have 2 levels for senior 63 and 64, this is 64)
This is a very good offer. I negotiated really hard and got an identical offer except that base was $200k... and level was 65 instead of 64. You might ask if you can be brought in at principal-65 instead of senior, since theyâre paying you 65-style comp. indeed, at 65 youâll get refreshers each year of only 36k or so (vesting over 5 years, so 7k a year!) so youâll be hitting a huge 4 year cliff after the 400k runs out.
7k a year?! Really? I thought refreshers were good at MS. Is that all? The recruiter said there would be cash refresher (yearly) too. Not sure if I want to go with L65 if this offer is solid. Less responsibility and almost same money as 65, so why not? :)
Also how does it look like in comparison with Google's E5?

Ms bonus and refresh is equivalent to non-exist. Better to factor that part in. Recruiter will bullshit on your bonus and refresh.
6 yoe and L65? Wtf i was interviewed recently and with ~4 yoe they said i ll be hired at L60. Plus havenât extended the offer yet!!!
What's your level at Amazon? I think you have a solid offer, but you can neg even more showing your current level. Be aware that you won't get much stock as refresher after you join. So neg hard. Do update us how it goes.
