Is getting a masters in computer science a value add, if I’m a US citizen, for career progression? If you have one: comment with your story - why’d you decide to pursue it? Did it help you achieve your goals? (For e.g. - is it helpful to have an MS if I want to break into machine learning?)
Basically a ticket for foreigners to work in the US afterwards from what I've seen
I think it’s worth if you want to learn ML
Do what works for you, if you enjoy learning outside of work then maybe it’s great. If school is dreadful and you don’t want to be in class ever again, maybe not the best option.
I personally am in a similar situation and want to go in to ML which is why I’m investing in myself to learn what’s intellectually stimulating, and if you are putting in the effort to learn, may as well have something to show for it (a degree)
$60,000 or no visa
Worth if u want easy entry into the USA for stealing :) those high paying jobs from Americans... :)
Wow. I'm definitely voting for trump in 2020 now
What do you mean by stealing? If someone has not been able to get a job then it is because of incompetence and nothing else.
