MS in Data Science or MBA in Finance
I am graduating soon and want to go to grad school eventually. I am pursuing a BS in Computer Science and was wondering whether a MS in Data Science or an MBA in Finance/IT would be worth it? What is the most valueable in terms of career growth/TC?

MBA in Finance. DS is just a hype at the moment and long term MBA is more rewarding both professionally and monetarily.
Do a cheap master’s degree somewhere and pay the big bucks for a top tier MBA
MBA is generally only worth it if you either go to a top tier program to switch careers or if you attend a part time program where your employer pays for the degree.
I would go even further to say that nowadays both of these factors ought to be true before an MBA is truly worth it.

I have a BTech from India MS IE US. Most (>95%) highly paid “Data Scientists” are PhDs and in Amazon they are called applied scientist. You won’t be able to get there with just an MS. DS role at amazon pays less than a developer role so you can just get an SDE job if TC is the concern.
