How long does it take to get an answer after on-site with MSFT? @Microsoft
I was scheduled for 1hr interview with manager which turned in to full day interview with other 5 people on team and got the offer on same day after rounds of interview. So I would say, depends on the number of people your team is interviewing at the time and number of position they need to fill. If you get the offer, the classic question is “when you get the date of joining”... which I got after 1 month 😂
Be careful of Microsoft Immigration, they rescind a majority of offers.
I haven’t heard back from them after submitting all the required documents.
Good luck with Micorosft Immigration! They are severely backlogged, and if you ask them to do something that's complex, they'll rescind your offer. Know of many cases myself.
It's hard to generalize. But i know of a scenario, the applicant had a competing offer before interviewing with MS and a few weeks deadline. They were able to make a verbal offer (nothing on paper) in that timeline to be able to say no to other one, followed by written offer a few weeks latter.

Are you kidding?
No - it took ages for me, both times I got an offer. My cases were both delayed... but delays are common in my experience with MSFT. Just follow up with your recruiter once a week and ask how things are moving along, and give them updates with other offers on top of that.
