Everyone knows both Seattle and the bay area sucks for single men when it comes to dating. Which is worse? Any federal/state gov data to back the male:Female ratio in the 25-35 age group?

We need more women in tech. I have literally not worked with any woman during my 4 years at Amazon. Why can there be so many women in tech in India and not in the US?
Will it be misogynistic to say the bar is lower in India? Or will it be racist? Truth is in India there are fewer opportunities for people to pursue what their hearts desire. No one takes humanities and hopes to make enough to put food on table in India.
There are ample opportunities in India for everyone. A lot of women in my family and friends have a successful career in finance, arts, law, sales and everything possible. They are able to pursue it even after marriage and having kids. Education in India is pretty much lead by women workforce. About bar, there doesn't need to be a bar pretty much anywhere in the world. As long as you can communicate, anything can be learnt by anyone having aptitude in it. Even though people pursue tech for the first few years in their career, they eventually do what they like the most. They have to do tech just to earn enough the first few years because their field of interest might be highly competitive or pays less. I would like to say the opposite, bar in USA is unnecessarily higher which hits women with busy personal lives the most. As an anecdote, I have seen many posts from women on Blind who do not have time to Leetcode because they need to take care of kids as well.

There's literally no place on earth like the Bay Area. It's always amusing when my male out of town friends visit. I would take him to the local hot spots and he will watch in shock and horror as 25 men converge on 1 or 2 average looking females at the bar. After trying to date in the Bay Area most single men start to think there's something wrong with them. Then they visit more normal cities like Chicago, San Diego, NYC, etc and gain some perspective on the Bay Area dating hell hole.

Lived in La Jolla and Del Mar for over seven years so I think I qualify to comment. If you think San Diego is anywhere near the dude ratio of Bay Area you are seriously clueless. It's not just the ratio but how attractive the women are (if you care about that sort of thing). It's literally a different universe.

Can confirm about Chicago. But alot of the girls are a type, at least on hinge. White girl from a small Midwestern town, attended a big 10 school, into wine & dogs, usually a nurse. I might be jaded but it's hard to meet different types of women
Every major city in the US will have more men than women in the 25-35 age bracket. You might want to look at smaller towns, or more importantly, figure out what's holding you back.
