Curious what’s the managing style at hedge funds like citadel or 2S for quant dev/researcher. It’s more like Google where engineer is No.1 and act like manager, or Amazon where manager comes from tech but no longer involves tech directly but has huge power? Or even worse, manager is from pure business background only know finance? Of course for career at hedge, even as quant dev one should understand finance/business, right?
