Meanwhile

https://techcrunch.com/2018/09/10/whatsapp-for-jiophone/ People in India don’t have enough toilets/ good infrastructure still they love to spend money/ time on worthless social media. Now I understand why Facebook, WhatsApp and other crappy social media is still relevant.SAD! IMHO: social media is cancer to humanity.

Don't generalize every thing to a whole nation or a race, you bitchy bot. Existance of some poor or Homeless people in US doesn't mean everyone in US is homeless. Use your mind before generalizing something. People who doesn't have toilet probably doesn't have access to internet too. Grow up moron.

Don’t you think wealthy Indians should be spending more time/ money/tax fixing their poor infrastructure not on social media. My post is about worthless social media addiction.

It’s the caste system that’s the reason for all their issues

You are missing the point. This post is about danger of social media addiction, not about Indians. We(USA and rest of the world) already have lots of problems and social media is adding fuel to fire.

Social media can be a powerful tool if correctly used. It gives people an opportunity to voice their rights and pressure the corrupted government. However, I don’t think social media doesn’t have any causality to the pace of developing a country. Do you think powerful people of a country (let’s say India) spend that much time on social media? If there is no social media, do you think they will be more active to develop their country?
