Hello, I have offers from above two. For Google, I am in team matching phase so don't know exact team yet. Google opportunity is based in LA. I am currently in computer vision field and considering MSFT AI&R I want to give serious consideration to it without rushing for Google. Any thoughts/advice on these two choices?
Microsoft Pablo Castro team is good
How do you know it’s Pablo’s team?
Pablo Castro team is doing what?
Google no doubt. Even if you cant get a good team match this time, it is easy to switch teams when you are in. Msft Air is just a bloated rebranding of Bing plus MSR. Dont think of it as Google Brain. I would choose Msft only if you can work with one of the few top notch researchers at MSR who I admire a lot. 99 out of 100 I will pick Google
^this, don't do it
Okay, there are too many ex Msft or loosers at Msft who are spreading too much hate about Microsoft. Microsoft's new divisions are free of old baggage, which means if you are good you will promoted faster and will be rewarded accordingly. What's up with this BS, take whatever scarps Google is offering and join ? Seriously ? Google is not Utopia, I have known enough people from Google whom have quite Google because they were not growing or getting shaffted by their managers Go with your gut feeling, talk to hiring manager, quize him/her, and if you like what you hear join that team
Are you insane? Google for sure, lmao.
Is your offer for Yu-Ting Kuo group at msft?
Which team/product team offer is from?
Hah jumping ship eh I’d rather work at Google any day personally as long as all of your team matches are CV related
