Microsoft, Databricks or Robinhood?

Have offers for all 3, Microsoft is in Redmond and Databricks/Robinhood are in SF.

I'd be working on Azure in Microsoft, or as a backend engineer at Databricks/Robinhood. Comp is about the same.

Also looking for conversion to full time after internship.

Databricks is growing like crazy and their product is hot. Also, underlying technology is very in demand (Spark). That's what I would pick. Eitherway, I think you can't go wrong with any of these choices. Maybe I wouldn't go to Seattle because of, you know, no sun.

Azure is a growing division in Microsoft. Go, live in Seattle, and steer clear of SF IMO

Azure seems cool! What's wrong with SF?

Databricks no brainer. Crazy growth and much stronger eng team in general vs the other two.

Databricks has a lot of upside in equity value I feel. They keep growing like crazy and have a great product.

Robinhood is one of the best out there right now. Intern there cuz it’s small and growing super fast

What's wrong with SF? Genuinely curious, since it seems like there's a lot of talent/opportunity there.

Microsoft has super easy conversion, I personally would pick Databricks if you think you could live in SF after, if you don't care about those two factors I'd pick Robinhood

What perks do you get at Robinhood? No commission trading? 😂😂

All brokers are dropping commissions. Hope you didn’t choose Robinhood. Very shitty execution times IMO and no competitive advantage now.

It’s an internship....take whatever one gives you the most visibility into what you want to do long term. If Product, then you better be part of the actual product team, even if you’re just doing python automation scripts
