Received 120K base, 20K sign-on, 20K stock (over 4 years) offer, which I plan to negotiate. Is this a reasonable offer for L62 Product Marketing Manager in Redmond? Appreciate the insights, thanks!
Most people here are in the engineering band, so their comp will be higher at same level. A 62 in the engineering pay band is higher than a 62 in the non engineering pay band.
Marketing bands are lower than Eng at MS (somewhere around 10-15% lower for base IIRC). That being said, MBA standard offer as of last year for PMMs was L61/117 base/35 sign-on/55 stock (over 4) I think coming in at 62 you should be a bit higher on base for sure, don't know how much wiggle room you have on stock/sign on though (unless you have leverage). It seems like your compa ratio would be on the low side, so see if you can get bumped at least a few thousand on base
This.. seems a bit lower for 62 PMM
Very helpful, thanks!
This sounds very low but like others have said, maybe marketers just make less at the same level.
True, but OP’s offer is low for a PMM too
I think this is a bit low for a 62. What org?

I was making $125k at 60 as PM. Sign on and stock is very low
But this is PMM. Marketing people make less.
Hmm! Good to know, thank you! Thoughts on a reasonable range for sign-on and stock?
