Hi, I have an upcoming Microsoft SWE Internship phone interview next week. The email says it's 30 minutes behavioral/technical. How will they ask coding questions over the phone? Or will I just explain pseudo code? And what level of difficulty should I expect for the technical side? Any extra tips?
It's usually just a chat without actual coding. You might get asked a few technical questions such as what's the difference between a thread and a process, etc. If there is a coding round, your interviewer will share a link. Although I doubt that's the case here. Note that I am not part of an hiring committee. This was my experience last year.
I had a conding round. I interviewed for Microsoft internship last season. I was asked to code a basic depth order traversal.
There'll be no coding just explanation even if they do ask, I have one next week too.
