Microsoft Sr SDE L64 Comp in Redmond
Hi fellow Blind users,
I interviewed at Microsoft in Redmond last week, and got a verbal offer today for a Sr SDE (L64) position.
I want to know if the offer is competitive and if I should negotiate/how much wiggle room do I have for negotiation.
Sign-on bonus: $100k over 2 years
RSUs: $320k over 4 years
Maximum Cash Bonus: Up to 30% of the base
Is this a competitive offer?
Now I fully understand cash bonus is "up to a maximum of 30% of base". I am going in with the expectation that I will not be getting 30%. Is 15% achievable provided there are no negatives in performance review and all goals are met with high quality?
YoE - 11 total, first 2-3 years as an Analyst before I switched to full time SDE role.
