Hello, I'm really confused. Just got a confirmation from M$ regarding SSE role (AZURE team) (Not sure if it's 63) that they were proceeding. The location is Seattle (Bellevue) I've got a Salesforce San Francisco Offer (Base: 200K | TC: 300K) for Senior MTS role. What is better suited for my career? I'm into Front-end development. These are the key differences I see: 1. Seattle Vs San Francisco 2. Microsoft Vs SF in terms of culture, brand on resume and overall I've got totally 7 offers in my hand ATM but I narrowed down to these two. TC: 5 years | Front end engineering.
All I can say is this is an amazing offer for a SMTS at Salesforce.
What was the msft offer comp?
Still waiting to get the numbers from them. Will update the post once I've got numbers
What team is it at Salesforce?
Marketing âď¸
From what I heard the Marketing cloud isnât in the best shape at Salesforce. I heard itâs very political. Tho personally I like Microsoft more as itâs a very good name to have on the resume, the tech is interesting, and overall the culture has improved very well
MS is better unless there is a big difference in TC
Seattle? Want to hear your perspective. What about the culture and brand value?
MS has better career opportunities, Seattle has cheaper cost of living, usually TC in Seattle is equal to what you get in Bay these day
Salesforce
Havenât heard of 200k base at Smts solid offer
Whatâs your level at PayPal ? Also what are your other offer if you could tell us.
You sure this is salesforce San Francisco? Because the Marketing Cloud is based in Indianapolis and thatâs where everybody is except for a few teams I know are in New York

Salesforce, MS is a dinosaur already.
