I recently got an offer which I think is low. Level 63 PM YOE 9 Base 145k Joining 15k Bonus 0-30% (which i know most people get some where between 7 and 17%) RSU's- 40k per year Additional stock- 20% I think base and joining are definitely negotiable. Thoughts?
This is what Level 59s are getting except base salary of 110k. Not sure what your course of action is. Keep in mind that Seattle salary = ~120% of SF. Obvi don't tell them that
Target annual bonus 15%, stock 17k vesting over 5 years at l63, FYI. Get competing offers, otherwise they know you will join since msft brand and this TC should be a bit better than Dell. A good l63 offer could be 160k base, 50k sign on and 120k stock.
Thanks for the insights. I am getting $160k stocks ($40k per year). Sign on and base is lower. I am working on 2 competing offers but like the team at Microsoft more. Pay wise, this is not a big jump from Dell tbh. Is $40-$50k per year for 2 years signing bonus unheard of at Microsoft? I've been given that number at another company. Also, the 20% additional stock for year (close to $25k per year) is standard?
You sign on stock is good, ask for more base and sign on cash with your competing offers and current TC. There is no 20% additional stock. On target it is 17k for L63, that is 3.5k per year for the next 5 years.

I don't know for PM roles. But definitely low balling offer comparing the COL. Definitely negotiate. Get competing offers.. Check levels.fyi for salary range
