It’s been back and forth with the recruiter for a week now and still no official offer letter. Is this typical for Microsoft offers? Meaning: we’ve been discussing verbally, but I haven’t seen anything in writing. On Friday the recruiter said the final offer verbally. But still no letter. Every other company I’ve negotiated with, it’s been: Day 1, offer letter. Day 2, negotiation. Day 3, come to a mutual agreement. It feels like the recruiter hasn’t really even talked to the team. Have they, and this is the process? Or am I getting the runaround?
+1 on what mspgk just said. Took me 2 weeks plus to get an offer out. And the recruiters don’t seem like the brightest people, either...
I am also waiting for offer letter from 1.5 weeks. Got the same response from Recruiter saying that lot of delays due to new recruting platform
Hi @djjazzyjim did u receive your offer letter yet?
Nope. But they said it was approved and I should see it shortly...
I knew about the tool refresh, but that’s not what I’m asking. Is it typical to only receive one offer in writing from Microsoft? Other companies I’ve dealt with go through two or three iterations of the written offer.
My recruiter mentioned that she wouldnt giv offer letter until i accept the numbers verbally and then there wont be any further changes to offer
Did you finally get the offer ?
